First I think your person needs to find out the reasoning
behind the customers request. Is it to save a buck? Is it
possible that the people receiving the subscription are feeling
that paper is for some reason inadequate? Is the information
so time critical that they feel its not as worthy as if they had
it days ago?
- My suggestion is to add a update report that would be send
out as an Added bonus to the publication. For example, if it
where financial information you could send daily closing reports
on stocks that are fallowed by the Written Report, and a quick
simmary of that days Activities. Reminders from the last Newsletter
of things to look out for. (i.e. Today at noon Company XYZ will start
trading at the NYSE : Rumor has that Blah Blah ...)
However the hard part is that it must add to the value of the Paper
Subscription and not take away from its success. And Value.
I think the new business word here is Senergy? Which is the adding
of value to the product or experience...
