based on the experiences in Germany (BTX/Datex-J/T-Online) and in France
(Minitel) this is still too much. To get a decent customer base you have to
give the terminal away for (almost) free and offer a interesting service. Then
it really flies: In France, the gave people Minitel terminals instead of
phone books, and it was a succes from beginning. In Germany they charged a lot
at the start and it had lots of problems (see for example the two name
changes!).
