I'd like to ask about another matter of netiquette, or just plain
etiquette for that matter.

I have a client who was recently written up in The Net magazine. They
didn't tell us that they were going to do it, they didn't ask permission
to use a picture that was copyrighted by my client. Basically
we only found out about it when a browser happened to mention it.

I had always been under the impression that magazines, and the different
cool web site pages usually contacted the site that would be featured before
actually featuring them.

It's not really skin off my back, and both the client and I appreciate the
exposure, but it would have been nice to be notified ahead of time.

Anyone else have feelings about this?
