Slow Down in Commercial Domain Growth

The $100 charge for new domains may be slowing the rate of growth.
There were 3,773 new domains registered with InterNIC during the week
ended 09/29/95. That's down considerably from the previous snapshot
taken on 09/22/95 which showed a sign-up rate in excess of 5,000 per week.
