The Internet is creating strange bedfellows. IBM has their own new search

Text, while Open Text and Yahoo have just made a deal to share technology.
These at least for now appear to be cooperative-competitive ventures. And
Netscape and Microsoft have agreed to support and be compatible with NBC
Desktop Video Applications, which will have its own multimedia authoring
tools.
