New Media Manager
Pacific Telesis Corporate Communications in San Francisco, California,
seeks New Media manager with 5-10 years corporate communications/PR
experience, including significant involvement with online channels,
particularly the Internet and World Wide Web. BA in PR/journalism or
related field. Manage Pacific Telesis Web site (www.pactel.com), plan and
lead efforts to expand online communications channels. Demonstrated,
excellent skills needed in communication strategies and planning, project
and vendor management and creative concepts and execution, as well as the
basics--strong writing, presentation and team skills. This is not a
technical position, but you must be conversant and comfortable with
online/Web technologies and how they can best serve communication
objectives. Hands-on Web content experience including HTML preferred;
multimedia experience a plus. Sorry, but no budget is allocated for
