Regarding Ad Rates

There has been a lot of discussion regarding ad rates on sites. On my site,
InterEdge (&lt;a href="<a href="http://www.interedge.com/">http://www.interedge.com/</a>"&gt;http://www.interedge.com/&lt;/a&gt;) we have adopted a hybrid rate model
where advertisers pay a much lower rate (currently $.01) for each
impression of their ad, and a higher rate (currently $.03) for each
click-through to their site.

While we have not sold any ads yet, I beleive that has more to do with our
as-of-yet lower than desirable traffic rate. That is improving with our
stepped up marketing efforts, and our content is expanding steadily. We
expect to begin selling ads very soon, and what little feedback we have
received regarding our rates has been positive.

What say you all? Is it effective? Does it address the needs and concerns
of today's web-advertiser? Let me (and the rest of the list) know your
thoughts, please.

Thanks,

Kevin Fadden
