#1 Chuck Locurto is looking for ad reps
You might have some luck with the traditional "business opportunity" crowd
and even (if it doesn't make you vomit) MLMers. If you pay straight
commission--and put in the necessary quality control so you don't have bozos
representing you and trashing your reputation--you can't go wrong
financially. Try reaching them with letters and/or press releases that you're
seeking commission-based reps. Still, I'd tread with some caution. Maybe
Internet publicists would do better for you.
A better bet to find techno-literate people with sales savvy might be through
themed BBSs, of which there are zillions.
Finally, check in with local colleges for bright students with some marketing
background, lots of Net savvy, and the desire to earn some decent money--and
maybe academic credit, too--for perhaps the first time in their lives. (In my
college days, I sold posters on the street, started a rent-a-bike service
with one bicycle, organized a live-music coffee house, and tried half a dozen
other business ventures. The entrepreneurial spirit is still alive and well
on campus.

#2-Gordon Currie wants to market the Web to off-line golf resorts
Your idea sounds good, but you might want to modify your marketing plan. In
addition to contacting people on-line, you'll need to show those not on-line
why they want to participate. Put a sample Web site together, convert it to
Adobe Acrobat, and run off some disks with your demo and the free Acrobat
viewer. Then mail these with a letter about how you'd like to help them
market in this way and what it will do for them, etc. If they're off-line,
you're not likely to find them through e-mail, but they'll almost certainly
have a computer.
Good luck!
