In this month's Sounding Board, Geoffrey Moore (The Chasm Group) is quoted
as saying "The emergence of the World Wide Web in 1995 will be marked as the
most dramatic event in business in the last decade of this century".
"In a period of less than six months it has forced virtually every client of
The Chasm Group to rewrite their business plans - not amend them, not revise
them, REWRITE them".
Sounds like pretty clear advise from one the leading high tech marketeers.
Sounding Board also has an article quoting Mitch Kertzman CEO of Powersoft
stating "I believe that virtually every marketing organization around the
world is looking at effectively opening for business on the Web. One of the
interesting challenges for marketing people will be balancing the
traditional corporate image with the unique demands of Web surfers"
