Tom, you should know that making brash statements like this one
without providing documentation is usually refered to as
"saber-rattling." Could you provide a reference to the
application? Is it available online? Are companies being
pursued to protect this (allegedly) protected mark? As an
attorney, I am sure you are aware that simply registering a
mark has little real value. It is the ongoing and active
pursuit of those who would use that mark against the wishes of
the owner that provides any possibility of legal protection.
