Yes. Definitely report them to the Atty General. I've had similar problems
on occasion from other types of services. It's an unethical tactic that is
used frequently by companies that one might (naively?) expect to behave
ethically. Their strategy is that you will capitulate and retain their
service; or at the very least, you'll be too busy (we're all so busy....)
that you won't fight the initial charge. It doesn't take too many "too
busy" customers of the many 000's that they do this to, for them to rack
up a very substantial profit. Yes, it's totally unethical, and yes, they
do it knowingly. And it makes me very angry to have to deal with that
kind of business practice!
