[Moderator's note: In general, I don't forward blatant publicity. The
following, however, appears particularly appropriate, though, since we're
looking at alternatives to the First Virtual reported flaw in all entry of
data on Internet-connected machines. -- GF]

There IS a total solution the the Key Press Recorder problem.

Tools called Key Press Password Recorders being used to steal sensitive
information like passwords or credit card numbers or whatever have existed
for over ten years that I know of.

My company NetSafe manufacture and market only one product: a patented,
100% effective soultion the the entire class of threats which we call Key
Press Password Recorders (KPPRs). We are presently sponsoring DSD
evaluation and certification of our product to E3 (F-E3) or USA standard B1
military security levels in the HIGH class. We have clients in business,
education, and banking using our product already to protect themselves from
this class of threat.

If you would like to know how effective our solution is, please refer to
the procedures that must be satisfied to aquire B1 or E3 security
accreditation. A description of our product can be found at:

&lt;a href="<a href="http://pobox.com/~netsafe">http://pobox.com/~netsafe</a>"&gt;http://pobox.com/~netsafe&lt;/a&gt;

We can be reached at netsafe@pobox.com if you would like to order our
product, licence our techniques, or receive more information and/or a
demonstration.

We personally know of several viruses, and many hundreds of "hacking tools" and
utilities which are specifically designed, or can be configured to steal the
passwords/credit card numbers/whatever from almost every PC on the market.

... and since we know that this threat is real and have products which
completely eliminate it, we CERTAINLY take this seriously !
