I also went to the site to read the entire article. I agree that this
is nothing more than an advertisement and endorsement disguised as a
"news release."
Congratulations are in order for the amount of dialog that this non-
news event has generated. 'It doesn't matter what the newspaper
prints, as long as they spell your name right.'
And what does the San Jose Mercury News gain by printing the 'non-news?
They (Knight-Ridder News) are major investors in several 'Net
corporations (Netscape,AOL etc.) They may have their own best
interests in mind with their complicity in the dissemination of this
type of nonsense. I do not know if they are also FV shareholders....
