Presence development cooperation and specialization

It's clear to me that 'presence' development involves many
different seperate activities. So, I wonder if we could
discuss those different steps and who amongst us specializes
in doing what.

I understand that some 'presence developers' are FULL SERVICE
and that others have specialities. I, for instance, am
concentrating my efforts on connecting businesses to the Net
and training them in how to look at it themselves (as a prelude
to establishing a Net presence). This makes sense because my
career has been in marketing and finance; so, I already have
scores of prospects, most of whom have heard what the Net is, but
don't know how to get connected or what to look for once they are.

Technical aspects of site development and maintaining a server are
not what I am about, so after developing interest I involve a
developer who can provide what I do not. We have authors on this
list and pundits <g>, I have seen Net publicists and all manner of
developers:

My question is how do we best cooperate with one another to avoid
duplication of effort and is it in everyone's best interest for
further specialization to occur?

Further, I am telling my clientele that they must plan any entry
based upon what the Net will be in 6 to 12 months, NOT what it is
today. Is that good advice or what should I be saying in your opinions?
