The logic of this often repeated sentiment eludes me. When we receive
unsolicited mail or e-mail there *IS* something we can do about it. The
need to do take action to discourage it is more imoprtant because the net
is basically self regulating. If there were nothing we could do about it,
then the net would have already been destroyed by spammers. Since they
know they'll be shut down, they don't do it - not on their own accounts
anyway.
