We at the Australian Council for Educational Research publish five important
journals/magazines that are sure to interest people overseas, but we find it
very difficult - without spending a fortune - to let places around the world
know about them as a way of encouraging subscriptions. Good as they are, it's
hard to keep them afloat with their moderate subscription bases for our pop
(18 million).

o Australian Education Index
3 per year + annual cum; comprehensive index to current lit on all aspects of
Aus education. Also available on AUSTROM CD-ROM.

o Australian Journal of Education.
3 per year; articles on contemporary educational issues and quality
educational research.

o Australian Journal of Career Development
3 per year; articles on career planning and guidance, vocational training,
labour market trends, latest research.

o Issues
4 per year; conservation/environmental topics; for secondary schools -
teachers and students of geography, history, ecology etc.

o Set: Research Information for Teachers
2 per year; readable educational research articles for primary and secondary
teachers.

Is it acceptable to circulate, say, tables of contents for each issue on
Internet? Any other advice very gratefully received?
